ABOUT

I am a Ph.D. student in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley, where I work with Alva Noƫ and Hannah Ginsborg. Previously, I earned an B.A. in philosophy with High Honors from Wesleyan University, and an M.A. in philosophy with Distinction from San Francisco State University.

My research is primarily in philosophy of mind, phenomenology, and aesthetics. In particular, I am interested in questions about the structure and sources of normativity in these areas.

Between my previous degrees, I had a career in music. I co-founded, composed for, and toured internationally with a seven-piece funk/soul band based out of San Francisco. I play keyboard instruments of all kinds, and have a particular love for the Hammond organ.
